After removing the existing linoleum flooring, we installed Durock subflooring over a plywood floor. At the request of the homeowner, this floor was layed out on a straight (90 Degree) angle using 12"x12" Marble Tile.  To be included in the center of the kitchen was a 45 Degree Diamond shape to accentuate the kitchen. Next we begin to square out the layout of the floor so that the floor is centered all around.  Now we start laying down the tile.  When we reach the point of the center of the floor, we begin cutting the tile with the wet saw with precision cuts.
